Turn iCloud Private Relay On / Off

Whether you want to increase privacy while browsing or need to temporarily disable it for certain websites, managing iCloud® Private Relay on your Apple® iPhone® is simple.

Before you begin

The iCloud Private Relay feature is only available on iPhone iOS 15 or newer and requires an iCloud+ subscription.
When iCloud Private Relay is turned on, it may cause websites to load slowly while using the Safari browser.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap the
    Apple profile
    .
  3. Tap
    iCloud
    .
  4. Tap
    Private Relay
    .
  5. Tap the
    Private Relay switch
     to turn on or off.
  6. When turning off, tap
    Turn Off Private Relay
     when prompted to confirm.
