Certain pre-installed apps on your moto g pure can't be removed. Disabling them can free up space and declutter your device, while enabling them returns functionality.

Before you begin

Disabling an app may cause related apps to malfunction.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Apps
    .
  3. Select
    See all apps
  4. If necessary, tap the
    Dropdown menu
     then tap
    All apps
    .
  5. Do one of the following:
    • To disable an app:
      1. Locate then select an app.
      2. Tap
        Disable
         then tap
        Disable app
         to confirm.
        If the Disable option isn't available, tap
        Force stop
         then tap
        OK
        .
      3. If prompted to replace the app with the factory version, tap
        OK
        .
    • To enable an app:
      1. Tap the preferred app.
      2. Tap
        Enable
        .
