Add / Remove a Wi-Fi ConnectionConnect your moto g pure to a visible or hidden Wi-Fi network or remove a saved one. This can help with troubleshooting or make it easier to connect to networks you use.
Steps
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate: .
- Ensure the Wi-Fi switch is turned on.
- Do one of the following:
- To connect to an available Wi-Fi network:
- Tap the preferred network.
- Enter the applicable password then tapConnect.
- To manually connect to a Wi-Fi Network:
- TapAdd network.
- From the Network name field, enter the applicable name.
- Tap the Security field then tap the applicable security option (e.g., None, WEP, etc.).
- From the Password field, enter the applicable password.
- TapAdvanced optionsand ensure all additional settings (e.g., Proxy, IP Settings, etc.) are configured appropriately.
- TapSave.
- To remove a Wi-Fi Connection:
- TapSaved networks.
- Tap the applicable network then tapForget.
