TCL TAB Pro 5G - Manage Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure the hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, timeout settings, etc.) on your TAB Pro 5G.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Mobile Networks
    Tethering & Mobile Hotspot
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  3. Tap
    Set up Mobile Hotspot
    .
  4. From the Setup Mobile Hotspot screen, configure the following as needed:
    • Network name (SSID)
    • Security (e.g., None, WPA2-Personal, etc.)
    • Password
      The new password must be entered on the connecting device.
      1. Tap the Password field to remove the existing password.
      2. Tap
        SAVE
        .
    • Show password
    • AP Band (2.4 GHz Band or 5.0 GHz Band)
    • Maximum connections (e.g., 1 user, 8 users, etc.)
  5. Tap
    Timeout settings
     then select a preferred option (e.g., Never, 5 mins, etc.).
  6. Tap
    SAVE
    .
