If you use two phone numbers on your Apple® iPhone® and you’re not able to send or receive message or phone calls using one of them, ensure the applicable eSIM profile is turned on.

Before you begin

The steps below apply only to the following iPhone models:
  • iPhone XS / XS Max and newer models
  • iPhone SE (3rd Gen)

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Cellular
    .
  3. From the SIMs section, tap the line for the eSIM.
  4. Tap the
    Turn On This Line switch
     to turn on or off.
    The option to turn off is only available when Dual SIM is active.
