Activate / Set Up Device

Activate your Smart Wrist to get started. This ensures you can make calls and send messages.

Before you begin

Only unlocked devices are eligible for eSIM activation.
Install the Orbic app using the Google Play™ Store.
Ensure your eSIM activation has been process and that your companion smartphone has a cellular or Wi-Fi connection.

Steps

  1. Tap the desired language (e.g., English, Espanol, etc.) then tap
    OK

  2. Scan the applicable QR code presented on the Smart Wrist with your smartphone to Download the Orbic Wear app.
    Two separate QR codes are provided. One for Android OS and one of Apple (App Store) iOS.
    This same QR code will be used to pair the watch to your phone after the Orbic Wear app is downloaded.
  3. Open the
    Orbic Wear app
     on your smartphone.
  4. To continue, review the Terms of service then tap
    Yes
    .
  5. Review the request for permissions (e.g., Location, Calendar, etc.), then tap
    Got it
    .
  6. From the Welcome screen, tap
    Add Device
    .
  7. Scan the applicable QR code on your Watch for Android or Apple (App Store) with your smartphone.
  8. From the Open Location prompt, review then tap
    Open
    .
  9. From the Allow Orbic Wear to access this device's location prompt, tap one of the options (e.g., While using the app, Only this time).
  10. From the Bluetooth Pairing prompt, ensure the pairing code matches what appears on the watch and phone, then tap
    Pair
     on both devices to confirm.
  11. If you're having trouble pairing, try the following steps:
    1. Restart both devices (smartphone and watch).
    2. Check your Bluetooth® connection.
    3. Unpair your devices and try again.
  12. Connect to a Wi-Fi network screen.
  13. From the Enable Notification Permission under Settings screen, tap
    Next

  14. From the Confirm what notification you want screen, tap from the available switches (e.g., Camera, Maps, Send Notification to Watch, etc.) to turn on or off then tap
    Next
     to continue.
  15. From the 'Orbic Wear App Run in Background Option' screen, review then tap
    Next
    .
  16. From your watch, continue to tap
    Next
     as you are taken through tips and tricks on the watch until you are on the Home screen.
