Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite - Add / Remove Face Recognition

Here's how to set up and remove facial recognition on your Galaxy Tab A7 Lite.
  1. Ensure a secure screen lock type has been set up.
  2. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  3. Navigate:
    Security and privacy
    Biometrics
    Face Recognition
    .
  4. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  5. Do one of the following:
    • For first-time setup:
      1. Review the 'Face recognition' message then tap
        Continue
        .
      2. While holding the tablet 8-20 inches away, position your face within the circle displayed onscreen.
      3. From the 'Face recognition' menu, tap the switch(es) to turn each option on or off (e.g., Face unlock, Brighten screen, etc.).
    • To remove face data:
      1. From the 'Face recognition' menu, tap
        Remove face data
        .
      2. To confirm, review the disclaimer then tap
        Remove
        .
