MOTOROLA ONE 5G UW ACE - Add / Remove Fingerprint Recognition

Here's how to set up and manage fingerprint recognition to unlock your Motorola one 5G UW ace.
For the fingerprint scanner to operate, hands must be clean and moisture-free.
  2. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Security
    .
  3. From the Device Security section, tap
    Fingerprint
    .
  4. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  5. Perform one of the following:
    • First Time Setup
      1. From the 'Unlock with your fingerprint' screen, review the info then tap
        Setup
         (lower-right).
      2. Place your finger on the
        sensor
         (center of screen) until it vibrates then lift it and repeat this step until the process is complete.
      3. Tap
        Done
         (lower-left).
      4. From the 'Easy shortcuts' screen, tap
        Learn more
         to get quick shortcuts.
        Tap
        Not now
         to return to fingerprint screen.
        If presented enter screen lock.
    • Add More Fingerprints
      1. Tap
        Add fingerprint
        .
        Up to 5 fingerprints can be registered on the device.
      2. Place your finger on the
        sensor
         (center of screen) until it vibrates then lift it and repeat this step until the process is complete.
      3. Tap
        Done
        .
    • Remove Fingerprint(s)
      1. Tap the
        Delete icon
         Trashcan icon to the right of the fingerprint you want to remove then tap
        Delete
        .
      2. If presented with 'Remove all fingerprints?', tap
        Yes, remove
        if desired.
