Manage Hotspot SettingsTurn on the hotspot feature for your Galaxy A12 to share mobile data with other devices. Set up the network name, password and security type to enhance security.
Steps
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate: .
- TapConfigure.
- Configure any of the following:
- Network name
- Security (Open or WPA2 PSK)
- Password
- Tap the Password field to remove the existing password.
- Enter the password then tapSave.
- Band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz preferred)
- TapAdvanced.
- To hide your Mobile Hotspot's name, tap theHidden network switchto turn on.
- TapBroadcast channelthen select an option (e.g., Auto, 1, 7, etc.).
- TapTurn off when no device connecter forthen select an option (e.g., Never timeout, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 60 minutes, etc.).
- TapSave.
