Add a Virtual Private Network

Using your VPN provider or IT admin's credentials, add a VPN to your Galaxy A12 to encrypt traffic and protect your identity on public Wi-Fi.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    More connection settings
    VPN
    .
  3. Tap the
    3-dot Menu
     then select
    Add VPN profile
    .
  4. If presented with a lock screen notification, tap
    OK
  5. From the Name field, enter the name.
  6. From the Type field, tap the
    Dropdown menu
     then select the VPN type.
  7. Enter the info into the applicable fields, then if needed, tap
    Show advanced options
     to configure (e.g., DNS search domains, DNS servers, Proxy, etc.) then tap
    Save
    .
