To perform the steps below, ensure the SD / memory card is inserted and your phone isn't connected to a computer via the USB cable.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app

  2. Navigate:
    Battery and device care
    Storage
    .
  3. Swipe left to view the SD card details.
  4. Tap
    Format
    .
  5. Tap the
    3-dot Menu
     then select
    Format
    .
  6. To continue, review the info then tap
    Format
