Fossil Gen 5 LTE Smartwatch - Set Date and Time

If your Fossil Gen 5 LTE Smartwatch shows the incorrect date and / or time, here's how to correct it.
Ensure the software on your Fossil Gen 5 LTE Smartwatch is up to date as the steps below apply to the most recent version.
  1. From the watch screen, press the
    Power /
    Home button
    to open the apps screen.

  2. Tap the
    Settings icon Settings icon

  3. Tap
    System
    .
  4. Tap
    Date & time
    .
  5. To use network-provided values, tap the following to turn on Switch on :
    • Automatic date & time
    • Automatic time zone
  6. When manually setting data & time, perform the following:
    You must turn off Switch off 'Automatic date & time' and 'Automatic time zone' settings to manually adjust date and time.
    1. Tap
      Set date
      .
    2. Select the month, date and year then tap the
      Done icon Continue icon
      to set.
      To select, scroll up or down then tap the appropriate option.
      To move to the next option, swipe the screen left.
    3. Tap
      Set time
      .
    4. Select the hour, minute and am / pm then tap the
      Done icon
      to set.
      To select, scroll up or down then tap the appropriate option.
      To move to the next option, swipe the screen left.
    5. Tap
      Set time zone
      .
    6. Select the appropriate option.
  7. If desired, tap
    Use 24-hour format
     to turn on (Automatic date & time must be off).
    On when a red dot is present.
