Here's how to change the SIM PIN for your Fossil Gen 5 LTE Smartwatch or turn it on or off.
  • Ensure the software on your Fossil Gen 5 LTE Smartwatch is up to date as the steps below apply to the most recent version.
  • Enabling the SIM PIN locks the eSIM in your device so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.
  • If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to My Verizon Website - Locate the SIM PIN / PUK to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).
  1. From the watch screen, open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connectivity
    Mobile
    .
  3. Tap
    Require SIM lock
    .
    To change your SIM PIN, ensure the switch is turned on then do the following:
  4. Enter the current SIM PIN then tap the
    Done icon
    .
    The default SIM PIN is 1111.
  5. To change your SIM PIN, ensure the switch is turned on then do the following:
    1. Tap
      Change SIM PIN
      .
    2. Enter the current SIM PIN then tap the
      Done icon
      .
    3. Enter a new SIM PIN then tap the
      Done icon
      .
    4. Re-enter the new SIM PIN then tap the
      Done icon
