Fossil Gen 5 LTE Smartwatch - Create and Send a Text Message

Here's how to create and send a text message from your Fossil Gen 5 LTE Smartwatch.
Ensure the software on your Fossil Gen 5 LTE Smartwatch is up to date as the steps below apply to the most recent version.
  1. From the watch screen, press the
    Power / Home button
     to open the apps screen.
    Power Home button
  2. Tap the
    Messages icon
     Messages icon.
  3. Tap
    New message
    .
  4. Do one of the following:
    • Tap the
      Dialpad icon
       dialpad icon enter the 10-digit number, then tap the
      Enter icon
       Enter icon.
    • Select the desired contact.
      Multiple contacts can be selected, swipe up or down to scroll through the contacts list.
  5. Tap the
    Done icon
     Done icon.
  6. Tap one of the following options:
    • Speak your reply Speak Reply :
      1. Speak your response.
      2. Wait for your response to be turned into text.
      3. Tap
        Done icon
         to send.
    • Reply with an Emoji Emoji Reply icon :
      • Draw an emoji.
        1. Draw emoji with your finger.
        2. Tap the
          Done icon
           to send.
      • Choose a pre-installed emoji
        1. Tap on the
          Emoji icon
           Emoji Reply icon.
        2. Scroll up or down then tap the desired emoji.
        3. Tap the
          Done icon
           to send.
    • Write a text reply Write Reply icon :
      1. Use your fingertip to write out the message.
      2. Tap the
        Send icon
         Send icon.
    • Use a quick reply:
      1. Scroll up or down.
      2. Tap the desired reply (e.g., OK, Yes, No, etc.) to send.
