TCL TAB 8" - Add / Remove Fingerprint Recognition

Here's how to set up and manage fingerprint recognition to unlock your TCL TAB 8.
For the fingerprint scanner to operate, hands must be clean and moisture-free.
  2. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Security
    Fingerprint
    .
  3. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  4. Perform one of the following:
    • First Time Setup
      1. Follow the on-screen tutorial to scan your fingerprint then repeat as necessary until the process completes.
      2. Tap
        Done
        .
      3. Tap the
        Unlock device switch
         to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
    • Add More Fingerprints
      1. Tap
        Add fingerprint
        .
        Up to 5 fingerprints can be registered on the device.
      2. Follow the on-screen tutorial to scan your fingerprint then repeat as necessary until the process completes.
      3. Tap 'Done' if finished or 'Add another' to continue adding fingerprints.
    • Remove Fingerprint(s)
      1. Tap the
        Delete icon
         Trashcan icon to the right of the corresponding fingerprint.
      2. To confirm, tap
        DELETE
        .
        When removing the last registered fingerprint on the device, review the disclaimer then tap
        Yes, Remove
         to confirm.
