Before you begin

It's recommended to only download apps from trusted sources, such as Google Play Store.
Downloading apps from unknown sources makes your device and data vulnerable to threats like ransomware.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Apps & notifications
    Advanced
    Special app access
    .
  3. Tap
    Install unknown apps
    .
  4. Tap the desired app (e.g., Chrome, Gmail, Drive, etc.) then tap the
    Allow from this source switch
     to turn on or off.
