Customize Your Home ScreenPersonalizing the Home screen on your Galaxy Z Fold2 5G makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove, or arrange apps, use widgets, or set a wallpaper that matches your style.
Add Apps
- From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
- Touch and hold an app.
- Drag-and-drop the shortcut onto the preferred Home screen location.
Add Widgets
- From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
- TapWidgets.
- Locate then select an app.
- Touch and hold a widget.
- Drag-and-drop the widget onto the preferred Home screen location.
- If applicable, tap additional options to activate the widget.
Add / Remove Folders
- From a Home screen, touch and hold an app (e.g., Calendar).
- Drag-and-drop the app on to another app (e.g., Gmail™) to create a new folder.
- Do one of the following:
- To rename a folder:
- Tap the folder.
- Tap theTitle bar.
- Enter a name then tapDone.
- To remove a folder:
- Drag the apps out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.
Remove Apps / Widgets
- From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widget, apps, etc.).
- Touch and hold an app or widget then tapRemove.Some pre-installed apps (e.g., Gmail, Gallery, etc.) can't be deleted from a Home screen.
Set Wallpaper
- From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank area.
- TapWallpapers and style.
- TapBrowse my wallpapers.
- Do one of the following:
- To use an existing wallpaper image:
- Select a wallpapers album (e.g., Featured, Graphical, Colors, etc.).
- Select a wallpaper image from the list.
- Select an option (e.g., Home screen, Lock screen, Lock and home screens).
- If necessary, tapPreview.
- TapDone.
- To use an image from your gallery:
- TapGallery.
- Locate then select the preferred picture.
- TapDone.
- Select an option (e.g., Home screen, Lock screen, Lock and home screens).
- If necessary, tapPreview.
- TapDone.
