Manage Battery Saving Settings

Power Saving mode helps extend battery life on your Galaxy A51 5G UW by reducing performance and limiting vibration, location services and most background data.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Battery and device care
    Battery
    .
  3. Tap the
    Power saving switch
     to turn on or off.
  4. With the 'Power saving' switch turned off, tap
    Power saving
     then configure any of the following:
    • Turn off Always On Display
    • Limit CPU speed to 70%
    • Decrease brightness by 10%
    • Limit apps and Home screen
  5. Tap the
    Back arrow
     to return to the previous screen.
  6. Tap
    Background usage limits
     then tap
    Put unused apps to sleep
    .
  7. Select
    More battery settings
     then tap any of the following to turn on or off:
    • Adaptive battery
    • Show battery percentage
    • Show charging information
    • Fast charging
    • Protect battery
  8. Tap
    Optimize now
     to run the optimization then tap
    Done
    .
