Manage Wireless Emergency Alerts

Emergency alerts keep you updated on situations like severe weather, public safety threats, AMBER alerts, etc. Set your Pixel 4a to receive only the alerts you want.

Before you begin

National alerts can't be turned off.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Notifications
    Wireless emergency alerts
    .
  3. Tap any of the following to turn on or off:
    • Allow alerts
    • Extreme threats
    • Severe threats
    • AMBER alerts
    • Test Alerts
    • Vibration
  4. Tap
    Alert reminder
     then select an option (e.g., Once, Every 2 minutes, etc.).
