Manage Home Screen Panels

Your Google Pixel 4a allows you to arrange your folders, shortcuts and widgets, making your device more efficient and reducing clutter.

Steps

  1. From a Home screen, swipe left or right to navigate the extended Home screen panels.
  2. Do any of the following:
    • To add Home screen panels:
      1. From a Home screen or the apps screen, touch and hold an icon (e.g., Play Books, Chrome, etc.) until the screen shrinks and multiple screens populate representing the existing Home screen panels.
      2. Drag the icon to the right until a new Home screen appears then release.
    • To remove Home screen panels, remove all icons from the unwanted panel.
