LG Stylo 6 - Add / Remove Fingerprint Recognition

Here's how to set up and manage fingerprint recognition to unlock your Stylo 6.

For the fingerprint scanner on your LG Stylo™ 6 to operate, hands must be clean and moisture-free.

From a Home screen, navigate:

Settings

Lock screen & security

These instructions apply to Home Mode only.

Tap

Fingerprints

Enter your current PIN, pattern or password.

Perform one of the following:

First Time Setup

From the 'Unlock your phone with your fingerprint' screen, tap

If necessary, enter your current PIN, pattern or password then tap

Follow the on-screen demo to add your fingerprint, place your finger on the

fingerprint sensor

(back of the device), lift it slightly then place a different part of your finger on the sensor.

Once the 'Fingerprint added' screen appears, tap

Tap any of the following to turn on Switch on

or off

Screen lock
: Unlock screen with your fingerprint.

Content lock
: Show locked content in Gallery and QuickMemo+ with your fingerprint.

Add More Fingerprints

Tap

Add fingerprint

Up to 5 fingerprints can be registered on the device.

Follow the on-screen demo to add your fingerprint, place your finger on the

fingerprint sensor

(back of the device), lift it slightly then place a different part of your finger on the sensor.

Once the 'Fingerprint added' screen appears, tap

Remove Fingerprint(s)

Tap the

Delete icon

to the right of the fingerprint you wish to remove.

Tap

Delete

to confirm.
