LG Stylo 6 - Add a Virtual Private Network

Here's how to add a virtual private network (VPN) to your Stylo 6 to encrypt your internet traffic and protect your online identity via a secure remote server.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
     on your LG Stylo™ 6.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings
    Network & Internet
    VPN
    .
  3. Tap
    Basic VPN
     then tap the
    Add icon
    Add icon.
  4. From the Name field, enter the appropriate name.
    If needed, contact the VPN admin for assistance with server info and credentials.
  5. From the Type field, tap the
    dropdown menu dropdown menu icon
    then select a VPN type.
  6. Enter the appropriate info into the applicable fields then tap
    SAVE
    .
    If applicable, tap
    Show advanced options
     to configure the following options, which may vary depending on the selected VPN type:
    • DNS search domains
    • DNS servers
    • Forwarding routes
