Apps installed on your Pixel 4a may request access to certain device features. You can review and change these permissions any time to suit your needs.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Apps
    See all apps
    .
  3. Locate then select the applicable app.
  4. Tap
    Permissions
    .
  5. Tap the applicable permission type to modify (e.g., Body Sensors, Microphone, Location, etc.).
  6. From the selected permission, select one of the available options:
    • Allow only while using the app
    • Allow
    • Ask every time
    • Don't allow
  7. If selecting 'Don't allow', from the 'If you deny this permission...' prompt, tap
    Cancel
     or
    Don't allow anyway
    .
