Stop Running Apps

When an app on your Pixel 4a misbehaves, try stopping it. This can fix temporary software issues by closing the app rather than sending it to the background.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Apps
    See all apps
    .
  3. Locate then select the applicable app.
    If system apps aren't visible, tap the
    3-dot Menu
     then tap
    Show system
    .
  4. Tap
    Force stop
    .
  5. Review the notification then tap
    OK
     to confirm.
