Set Lock Screen Notifications

Choose whether messages and alerts show in full, remain private or stay silent while the screen on your Pixel 4a is locked.

Before you begin

Lock screen notifications are only available if a screen lock is enabled.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Notifications
    .
  3. Tap
    Notifications on lockscreen
     then select an option:
    • Show conversations, default, and silent
    • Hide silent conversations and notifications
    • Don't show any notifications
