Perform a Gmail Sync

Adjust Gmail™ sync settings on your Pixel 4a to stay on top of your email in real time. If preferred, you can also manually update your inbox, calendar, contacts, etc.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Passwords & accounts
    .
  3. Select the account name (Gmail email address).
  4. Tap
    Account sync
    .
  5. Tap the applicable data sync options (e.g., Contacts, Gmail, Calendar, etc.) to turn on or off.
    To perform a manual sync, tap the
    3-dot Menu
     then tap
    Sync now
    .
