Setting up speed dial entries on your Pixel 4a allows you to call important phone numbers quickly and easily.

Add a Speed Dial

  1. Touch and hold an empty area of a Home screen.
  2. Tap
    Widgets
    .
  3. Tap
    Contacts
    , touch and hold
    Direct dial
    .
  4. Drag-and-drop the widget onto the preferred Home screen location.
  5. Tap a contact.
    If the contact contains multiple numbers, tap the applicable number.

Remove a Speed Dial

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold the
    Speed Dial icon
     or the
    Direct Dial icon
    .
  2. Drag-and-drop the item onto 'Remove' at the top of the screen.
