Orbic Journey L - Manage Wireless Emergency Alerts

Here's how to manage emergency alerts (e.g., AMBER Alerts, etc.) for your Journey L.

From the main screen on your Orbic® Journey™ L, select

Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.

Navigate:

Settings

Wireless & Networks

Select

Emergency Alerts

Press the

left soft key

to choose Settings.

Highlight 'Receive alerts', press the

center button

then highlight preferred alert to add a checkmark Red checkmark

National alerts can't be turned off.

State/local test

Public safety messages

AMBER Alert

Severe Alert

Extreme alert

Highlight one of the following alerts, select 'On' or

Off' then select

Set

Receive Spanish alerts

Cell broadcast message

Select

Notification settings

, then highlight and select 'On' or 'Off' for the following:
