Samsung Galaxy A21 - Format SD / Memory Card

Here's how to erase all data on the SD / memory card in your Galaxy A21.
To perform the steps below, ensure the SD / memory card is inserted.
  1. Ensure that your smartphone isn't connected to a computer via the USB cable.
  2. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to the default Home screen layout.
  3. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Battery and device care
    Storage
    .
  4. Swipe left from the right side of the display to view the SD card.
  5. From the 'Portable storage' section, select the name of the SD / memory card.
    The name varies depending upon the type of card used.
  6. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (upper-right) then tap
    Format
    .
  7. To continue, review the disclaimer then tap
    Format SD card
    .
    Allow several seconds for the process to complete.
