Samsung Galaxy A21 - Add a Virtual Private Network

Here's how to add a virtual private network (VPN) to your Galaxy A21 to encrypt your internet traffic and protect your online identity.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    More connection settings
    VPN
    .
  3. Tap the
    Menu icon
     3-dot Menu icon.
  4. Tap
    Add VPN profile
    .
  5. If presented with a lock screen notification, tap
    OK
    .
    Refer to Enable / Disable / Modify Screen Lock for assistance.
  6. From the Name field, enter the applicable name.
    Contact the VPN admin for assistance with server info and credentials.
  7. From the Type field, tap the
    dropdown menu
     Dropdown menu icon then select the VPN type.
  8. If applicable, tap
    Show advanced options
     to configure the following:
    The available options vary depending upon the selected VPN type.
    • DNS search domains
    • DNS servers
    • Forwarding routes
    • Username
    • Password
  9. Enter the required info into the applicable fields then tap
    Save
    .
