Turn App Permissions On / Off

Apps installed on your moto g stylus may request access to certain device features. You can review and change these permissions any time to suit your needs.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Apps & notifications
    .
  3. Select
    App info
    .
    If unavailable, tap
    See all apps
    .
  4. If necessary, tap the
    Dropdown menu
     then select
    All apps
    .
  5. If available, tap
    Permissions
     then do any of the following:
    • To allow an app permission:
      1. From the 'Denied' section, tap an available permission (e.g., Camera, Contacts, etc.).
      2. Tap the preferred option:
        • Allow
        • Allow only while using the app
      3. Tap the
        Back arrow
         to save changes.
    • To deny an app permission:
      1. From the 'Allowed' section, tap an available permission (e.g., Camera, Contacts, etc.).
      2. Tap
        Deny
        .
      3. From the 'if you deny this permission...' prompt, tap
        Deny Anyway
         to confirm.
