Customize Your Home Screen

Personalizing the Home screen on your moto g stylus makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove, or arrange apps, use widgets, or set a wallpaper that matches your style.

Add Apps

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Drag and drop the shortcut to the preferred Home screen.

Add Widgets

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
  2. Tap
    Widgets
    .
  3. Touch and hold a widget.
  4. Drag the widget to the preferred Home screen then release.

Add / Remove Folders

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a shortcut (e.g. Email).
  2. Drag the shortcut onto another shortcut (e.g. Gmail) then release to add an unnnamed folder.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To rename a folder:
      • Select the folder then tap
        Title Bar
        .
      • Enter a name then tap the
        Keypad checkmark
        .
    • To remove the folder, drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.

Remove Apps / Widgets

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widgets, shortcuts, folders, etc.).
  2. Drag the item to Remove then release.

Set Wallpaper

  1. Touch and hold a blank space on a Home screen.
  2. Tap
    Wallpapers
    .
  3. Select a folder (e.g., My photos, On-device wallpapers, etc.)
  4. Locate then tap the preferred picture.
  5. Tap the
    Checkmark icon
    .
  6. Choose one of the following:
    • Home screen
    • Lock screen
    • Home screen and lock screen
