Add a Virtual Private Network

Using your VPN provider or IT admin's credentials, add a VPN to your moto g stylus to encrypt traffic and protect your identity on public Wi-Fi.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Network & Internet
    Advanced
    VPN
    .
  3. Tap the
    Add icon
    .
  4. From the Name field, enter the name.
  5. From the Type field, PPP encryption (MPPE) is checked by default. If another encryption type is preferred, tap the
    Dropdown menu
     then select the VPN type.
  6. Enter the info into the applicable fields, then if needed, tap
    Show advanced options
     to configure (e.g., DNS search domains, DNS servces, Proxy, etc.) then tap
    Save
    .
