Perform a Factory Reset

Restore your Lexus in-car Wi-Fi hotspot to factory settings to resolve connection issues, clear saved network data, or prepare the car for a new owner.

Before you begin

Performing a factory reset deletes personal data (e.g., audio, navigation, phone, etc.) and restores the unit to default settings.
Perform the steps below if you are unable to subscribe to Mobile Hotspot post trial. Allow 5-10 minutes for the Wi-Fi to activate.

Steps

  1. Press the
    Menu button
     on the Remote Touch then select
    Setup
    .
  2. Select
    General
    .
  3. Select
    Delete Personal Data
    .
  4. Select
    Delete
    .
  5. To confirm, select
    Yes
    .
    Once the factory data reset completes, an update to the Lexus app may be required.
