If you'd like to set up additional user accounts, which allows others to use your device with personalized settings, such as email accounts, wallpaper preferences, and more, follow these step-by-step instructions.
- From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
- Navigate:.SettingsAccounts and backupUsers
- From the Users and profiles section, tapAdd user or profile.Users can only be added by the Owner account (the first account used to access the device).
- Do one of the following:
- To add a full access user account:This account type allows users to access their own apps and content.
- TapUser.
- TapOKto confirm.
- TapSet up now.If you choose 'Not now' the setup process will automatically begin the first time you sign in to the user account.
- If applicable, set up your device.
- To add a restricted access user account:This account type allows users limited access to apps and content.
- TapUser (restricted profile).
- If prompted, tapSET UP SCREEN LOCK.
- If applicable, follow these instructions to set up screen lock prior to continuing with the next step.
- From the Application / content restrictions section, configure the restrictions as desired then tap theBack icon
to return to the Users screen.
Turn onto allow access to an app or turn off
to restrict access.
