Add / Remove Speed Dial Number

Setting up speed dial entries on your Pixel 4 / 4 XL allows you to call important phone numbers quickly and easily.

Add a Speed Dial

  1. Touch and hold an empty area of a Home screen.
  2. Tap
    Widgets
    .
  3. From the Contacts section, touch and hold
    Direct dial
    .
  4. Drag-and-drop the widget onto the preferred Home screen location.
  5. Tap a contact.

Remove a Speed Dial

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold the
    Speed Dial icon
     or
    Direct Dial icon
     for the applicable contact.
  2. Drag-and-drop the item onto Remove at the top of the screen.
