Adjust Gmail™ sync settings on your moto g7 play to stay on top of your email in real time. If preferred, you can also manually update your inbox, calendar, contacts, etc.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Tap
    Accounts
    .
  3. Select the applicable Gmail address.
  4. Tap
    Account sync
    .
  5. Tap the applicable data sync options (e.g., Contacts, Gmail, etc.) to turn on or off.
  6. To perform a manual sync:
    1. Tap the
      Menu icon
       3-dot Menu icon.
    2. Tap
      Sync now
