Samsung Galaxy A20 - Add / Remove Face Recognition

Here's how to set up and remove facial recognition on your Galaxy A20.
  1. Ensure a secure lock screen type has been set up.
  2. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  3. Navigate:
    Biometrics and security
    Face Recognition
    .
  4. Enter the current PIN, password, or pattern.
  5. Do any of the following:
    • For first-time setup:
      1. From the 'Face recognition' screen, select
        Continue
        .
      2. From the 'Do you wear glasses?' screen select 'yes' or 'no' then tap
        Continue
        .
      3. While holding the phone 8-20 inches away, position your face within the square displayed onscreen.
      4. From the 'Face recognition' screen, tap the
        switch
         to turn each option on or off (e.g., Face Unlock, Faster recognition, etc.) then tap
        OK
        .
    • To remove face data:
      1. From the Face recognition menu, tap
        Remove face data
        .
      2. To confirm, review the disclaimer then tap
        Remove
        .
