Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e - Move Files from Internal Storage to SD / Memory Card

Here's how to move files from device storage to an SD / memory card on your Galaxy Tab S5e.
To perform the steps below, an SD / memory card must be installed.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Tap
    My Files My Files icon
    .
    My Files is located in the 'Samsung' folder by default.
  3. Tap
    Internal storage
    .
  4. Navigate to the appropriate directory (e.g., DCIM, Music, etc.) where the files are currently located.
    Not all file locations in the Categories section can be moved.
  5. Tap the
    Menu icon Menu icon
    (upper-right).
  6. Tap
    Edit
    .
  7. Select (check) the desired file(s).
    To select all files, tap
    All
     (upper-left).
  8. Tap
    Move
     (lower-left).
  9. Tap
    SD Card
    .
    If necessary, navigate to the appropriate directory (where you want to put the files).
  10. Tap
    Move here
     (lower-right).
