Kazuna eTalk™ - Manage Data Usage

Here's how to change the data usage cycle and set data warnings and / or limits on your eTalk.
  • Device data usage may differ from actual usage. For accurate info and bill cycle dates, visit the My Verizon website.
    For Business Customer data, visit My Business.
  • To control data usage on your account, refer to Verizon Family™.
  1. From the main screen, select
    Menu
    .
    Use the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.

  2. Navigate:
    Tools & Settings
    Wireless & networks
    Mobile Network
     .
  3. Select
    Data usage
    .
  4. Do any of the following:
    • Change Data Usage Cycle:
      1. Press the
        right soft key
         Soft key to choose Options.
      2. Select
        Billing cycle
         then select it again.
        Use the navigation pad to select your bill cycle date.
        Refer to your statement for the bill cycle date.
      3. Select
        Set
        .
    • Set Mobile Data Limit:
      Mobile data is turned off when the data usage reaches the limit indicated by the red line. To use apps needing data, use Wi-Fi or adjust the limit.
      1. Press the
        right soft key
         Soft key to select Options.
      2. Select
        Billing cycle
        .
      3. Select
        Set data limit
         to turn on or off.
      4. If prompted select
        OK
         when the 'Limiting data usage' screen appears to confirm.
      5. Select
        Data limit
        then edit the following:
        • Amount
          Enter amount of data to limit. Any number up to 999.
        • Unit
          Choose MByte or GByte. (1024MB = 1GB)
      6. After you have made your selections, press the
        left soft key
         to select Set.
      7. If prompted with 'Mobile data will be turned off...', select
        OK
         to save changes.
    • Set Mobile Data Warning:
      A notification message appears upon reaching the specified data usage level.
      1. Press the
        right soft key
         to choose Options.
      2. Select
        Billing cycle
        .
      3. Select
        Set data warning
         to turn on or off.
      4. Select
        Data warning
        then edit the following:
        • Amount
          Enter amount of data used to alert you. Any number up to 999.
        • Unit
          Select MByte or GByte. (1024MB = 1GB)
      5. After you have made your selections, press the
        left soft key
         to choose Set.
