Kazuna eTalk - Enable / Disable / Modify SIM PIN

Here's how to modify or turn the SIM PIN for your eTalk on or off.
  • Enabling the SIM PIN locks the SIM card, so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.
  • If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to My Verizon Website - Locate the SIM PIN / PUK to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).
  1. Open the
    Tools & Settings app
     on your Kazuna eTalk™.
    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.
  2. Navigate:
    Phone Settings
    Security
    SIM card lock
    .
    If unavailable, ensure a SIM card is properly inserted.
  3. Select
    Card Lock
     to turn On or Off.
  4. Enter the SIM Unlock code then select
    Next
    .
    The default SIM PIN is 1111.
  5. To change your SIM PIN, ensure the switch is turned on then do the following:
    1. Select
      Edit Card Code
      .
    2. Press the
      left soft key
       left button to choose
      Change
      .
    3. Enter the SIM unlock code then select
      Next
      .
    4. Enter the new PIN code then select
      Next
      .
    5. Re-enter the new PIN code then select
      Next
