Emergency alerts keep you updated on situations like severe weather, public safety threats, AMBER alerts, etc. Set your Galaxy S10 5G to receive only the alerts you want.

Before you begin

National alerts can't be turned off.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Notifications
    Advanced settings
    Wireless Emergency Alerts
    .
  3. Tap the
    Allow alerts switch
     to turn on or off.
  4. With the 'Allow alerts' switch turned on, select any of the following:
    • Extreme alerts
    • Severe alerts
    • AMBER alerts
    • Public safety messages
    • State and local test
