Alcatel Avalon V - Activate / Set Up Device

Activate your Avalon™ V to get started. This ensures you can make calls, send messages, and connect to the internet.
  1. Press and hold the
    Power button
     until the device begins to power on. Select your language then tap
    Get started
    .
  2. Confirm the correct phone number displays then tap
    Next
    .
  3. Connect to a Wi-Fi network.
  4. To set up your phone using an old phone, select
    Copy your data
    . Otherwise, tap
    Set up as new
    .
  5. Sign in to your Google™ account or create a new one.
  6. Set up a screen lock to secure your device.
  7. Follow the onscreen prompts to review and accept the Google Assistant options.
  8. To allow Verizon Services to collect Location and App info, tap
    Accept
    .
  9. Tap
    Agree
     or
    Next
     to add additional storage with Verizon Cloud or secure your device with Verizon Protect.
  10. Tap
    Got it
     to complete the activation.
