Alcatel Avalon V - Manage Data Usage

Here's how to change the data usage cycle and set data warnings and/or limits on your Avalon V.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
     on your Alcatel Avalon™ V.
  2. Navigate:
    Network & internet
    Data usage
    Cellular data usage
    .
  3. Tap the
    Settings icon
     then do any of the following:
    • Change Data Usage Cycle:
      1. Tap
        Billing cycle
        .
      2. Set the date to match the first day of your billing cycle then tap
        SET
        .
    • Set Mobile Data Limit:
      Mobile data is turned off when the data usage reaches the limit indicated by the red line. To use apps needing data,use Wi-Fi or adjust the limit.
      1. Tap the
        Set data limit switch
         to turn on.
      2. Tap
        Data limit
        .
      3. Enter the desired data limit then tap
        SET
        .
    • Set Mobile Data Warning:
      A notification message appears upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the gray warning line.
      1. Tap the
        Alert me
         to turn on.
      2. Tap
        Data warning
        .
      3. Enter the desired warning threshold then tap
        SET
        .
