Before you begin

Ensure your Galaxy S10 isn't connected to a computer via a USB cable and that an SD / memory card is inserted.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app

  2. Navigate:
    Battery and device care
    Storage
    .
  3. Tap the
    3-dot Menu
    .
  4. Tap
    Advanced
    .
  5. From the Portable storage section, select the name of the SD / memory card.
  6. Tap
    Format
    .
  7. To continue, review the disclaimer then tap
    Format SD card
