KYOCERA DuraForce PRO 2 - Customize Your Home Screen

Personalizing the Home screen on your DuraForce PRO 2 makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove, or arrange apps, use widgets, or set a wallpaper that matches your style.

Add Apps

  1. Touch and hold an app.
  2. Drag the shortcut to the desired Home screen then release.
    For the app to be successfully added, there must be enough space within the selected Home screen. If needed, more Home screen panels may be added.

Add Widgets

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
  2. Tap
    Widgets
    .
  3. Touch and hold a widget.
  4. Drag the widget to the preferred Home screen then release.
    For the widget to be successfully added, there must be enough space within the selected Home screen. If needed, more Home screen panels may be added.
  5. If applicable, tap additional options to activate the widget.
    Options vary depending on the type of widget.

Add / Remove Folders

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a shortcut (e.g., Email Messages, etc.).
  2. Drag the shortcut onto another shortcut (e.g., Gmail, Photos, etc.) then release.
    A folder containing the shortcuts is created (titled Unnamed Folder). To rename the folder:
    1. Tap the folder.
    2. Tap the
      Title bar
      .
    3. Enter a name then tap the
      Checkmark icon
      .
    To remove a folder, drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.

Remove Apps / Widgets

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widgets, shortcuts, folders, etc.).
  2. Drag the item to 'Remove' at the top of the screen then release it.

Set Wallpaper

  1. Touch and hold a blank space on a Home screen.
  2. Tap
    Wallpapers
    .
  3. Select the location for photos.
  4. Tap a desired wallpaper then tap
    Set wallpaper
    .
    Scroll left or right to see more options.
  5. Select an option:
    • Home screen
    • Lock screen
    • Home screen and Lock screen
