Verizon Jetpack MiFi 8800L - Insert / Remove SIM Card

Here's how to properly insert or remove a SIM card for your MiFi 8800L.
Don't attempt to insert/remove the SIM card with the battery still installed in the Verizon Jetpack® MiFi® 8800L. Doing so can harm the SIM card and/or the device.
  1. Ensure the device is powered off.
  2. Remove the battery cover.
  3. Remove the battery.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • Insert SIM card
      With the gold contacts facing down and the notch located in the lower-left, insert the SIM card as shown.
      Slide in the card until it won't go further and is securely under the metal SIM holder.

    • Remove SIM card
      Press and hold down on the gray plastic tab directly to the right of the SIM card, then slide the SIM card backwards rom the left towards the tab.

  5. Re-insert the battery.
  6. Replace the back cover.
