Verizon GizmoTablet - Manage Battery Saving Settings

Power Saving mode helps extend battery life on your GizmoTablet by reducing performance and limiting vibration, location services, and most background data.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
     on your Verizon GizmoTablet™.
  2. Navigate:
    Device care
    Battery
    Power mode
    .
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To turn on:
      1. Tap Medium power saving or Maximum power saving.
      2. Tap
        Apply
        .
    • To turn off tap
      Optimized
      .
  4. Configure any of the following settings then tap
    Apply
    :
    • Restrict background data
      Activated when a blue check is present.
    • Limit CPU speed
      Activated when a blue check is present.
    • Brightness
      Tap the
      Dropdown icon
       Dropdown icon then select the preferred setting.
