Google Pixel 3 / 3 XL - Insert / Remove SIM Card

Here's how to properly insert or remove a SIM card for your Pixel 3 / 3 XL.
Instructions on Inserting/Removing your SIM can help with activation issues / errors, browser connection problems and a blank or frozen screen.
Don't attempt to insert/remove the SIM card while your Google Pixel 3 is powered on. Doing so may harm the SIM card and/or your device.
  1. Ensure the device is powered off.
  2. From the bottom-left edge of the device (display facing up), remove the card tray then do one of the following:
    • Insert SIM card
      Insert the SIM card into the tray with the gold contacts facing the front of the phone.
      Insert SIM card
    • Remove SIM card
      Lift card from the tray.
      Remove SIM card
  3. Carefully reposition the tray into the slot and push it gently back into the phone.
