Samsung Galaxy Tab A (8.0) - Manage Do Not Disturb Settings
If your Galaxy Tab A (8.0) isn't receiving calls or alerts for texts and email, here's how to check Do Not Disturb settings.
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate: .
- Do either of the following:
- To activate / deactivate immediately, tap theTurn on now switchto turn on or off.
- To manage a 'Do not disturb' schedule, tap the switch to the right of the preferred schedule(s) to turn on or off.To create a new schedule, tapPlus icon.To edit an existing schedule, tap the schedule name then configure as desired (e.g., Days, Start time, etc.).
- TapHide notificationsthen the preferred notification setting (e.g., Hide full screen notification, hide app icon badges, etc.) to turn on or off.
- Tap theBack icon
to return to the previous screen.
- TapAllow exceptions.
- Tap the following to turn on or off:
- Alarms
- Media sound
- Touch sounds
- Calendar events
- Reminder
